Author Brian Christian and cognitive scientist Tom Griffiths have teamed up to bring you a statistically tested formula for decision-making. In Algorithms to Live By: The Computer Science of Human Decisions, they explore the way that algorithms can be applied to our everyday lives to help us know exactly how long we should look before we leap. They will talk about how these algorithms designed for computers can also untangle our human questions.
